Contact P&Z member Ron Weber for more details about the following event:

**************
Please join your fellow WDCSITE/VASITE colleagues to hear an overview
and update of MAP-21 and Transforming Tysons.

MAP-21
The Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) was signed into law by President Obama on July 6, 2012. MAP-21 significantly
restructures core highway formula programs and transitions the highway program to a performance and outcome-based program. Our speakers will
share their thoughts on the bill from each of their unique perspectives.

Transforming Tysons: An Update and a Look Forward
By 2050, Tysons will be transformed into a walkable, sustainable, urban center that will be home to up to 100,000 residents and 200,000 jobs.
Tysons is envisioned to become a 24-hour urban center where people live, work and play; where people are engaged with their surroundings; and,
where people want to be. Fairfax County staff will provide an update on this exciting and ambitious project where transportation meets community
building.
